Matt Woerman is a Research Associate at Resources for the Future in Washington, DC. His current research interests include policies and regulations affecting the electricity sector. His recent work has used the Haiku Electricity Market Model to simulate the effects of federal greenhouse gas regulations, renewables and clean energy policies, and energy efficiency and conservation. He received an M.S. in Environmental Economics from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University.
